Page & Small Opticians

Firstly, I hope you and your family remain well in such difficult times.
To give you an Covid-19 update, on Monday morning, we made the very difficult decision to temporarily close the practice.
We strongly felt that by continuing to be open and providing routine Eye Examinations, we would be putting both our patients, our team's and everyone's families at risk as well as adding to the burden on our NHS.
While most vision problems are generally important, very few are instantly sight threatening and in these circumstances, seem a mere nuisance in comparison to the risks of not stopping this virus in its tracks. We have now received guidance to avoid face to face contact wherever possible. We have reduced to a skeleton staff without physical optometrist cover but we will still be here to support you but in a slightly different way to what we are all used to. We will do our utmost to send out glasses on order, order replacements, offer repairs, supply solutions and drops and offer advice and guidance. Even if you just need a chat while isolated.
Please contact us by phone or message to discuss how we may help and for urgency to be triaged. Not all calls can be answered so please leave a message. Please do not come to the practice unless advised. Advice will be given remotely where possible, utilising photos and video calling.

Wishing the best to you all in such difficult times. The team at Page & Small's look forward to seeing you again as soon as safe to do so.
